Meditation is a beneficial coping mechanism for individuals diagnosed with PTSD as it increases the quality of life, enjoyment and satisfaction, people’s quality of sleep and social functioning. Meditation can also help with PTSD symptoms, stress and anxiety (Fiore, R. Tosti, E, 2013).
